BJORNV also known as Bjorn Valken (22 years old) is an upcoming and rising star. He already has some impressive gigs registered on his name. The DJ/Producer lives in the Netherlands in a small town called Spijkenisse. This is a town where lots of talented dj’s and artists come from, there must be something in the water. His style is quality house music mixed with Tech-House, Latin House and Progressive-House. The incrowd already knows it, BJORNV is well known and definitely here to stay. He describes himself as ‘young and inspired’ and that just covers it all. BJORNV gets full support from the one and only Vato Gonzalez. Together they produced the tracks Maison Croyable and Endurance, supported by the Bingo Players and Laidback Luke. The collaboration between the two dj’s is very successful and will definitely last for a long time. In December 2011 BJORNV opened Crowd Control before Vato Gonzalez, that was a big honour and a very special moment in the dj career of BJORNV. “There was a silence in the music and when the music started, the crowd was screaming and going wild, that gave me a enormous kick!”
Past
There is almost no place in Holland where he didn’t play his music. BJORNV started spinning in Spijkenisse, after that quickly followed Club Lumey in Brielle, Saint-Tropez and Offcorso in Rotterdam, Beachclub Yland, Woodies, Tejays in Spijkenisse, Club Eleven in Weert and the Matrixx in Nijmegen. Present
At the moment you can find BJORNV in his room where he produces his own music. It is a daily activity, “When I am mixing music I am in my own world, I loose all track of time and space”. He also has some very good friends that share the love for producing and mixing music; Silky Bastard and Aldair Silva. These are two very young and talented dj’s. There is a collaboration coming between the dj’s, they will join forces for a spectacular track.
Future
“My dream is to perform at al big party’s and festivals and to entertain people with my music. When I look at people and I see that the have a great time, that is when my night is complete”. BJORNV also would like to work together with the Bingo Players, “they make great tracks, I play a lot of their produced music”. The connection with the crowd is very important to BJORNV, he thinks that the audience makes all the difference. “When a record is on and nobody dances, you need to find a record that will and switch to that”.
